#1 Where did this guide come from? From the PrestoSpace project, which has the goal of preservation of audiovisual media -- in collections of all sizes. It was launched by the project in May 2006, in hopes of being self-sustaining through contributions of the whole community of people and organisations working in or supporting the collection and preservation of audiovisual media -- and the memory of our culture provided by audiovisual collections.

#2 Can I add information to this guide? YES. Send an email to richard.wright@bbc.co.uk to get the edit password. But please observe the rules?, and please give new contributions a Creative Commons licence. The standard licence for this site is here: UK_CC_Licence.

#3 Can I re-use information from this guide? YES. Each page of the wiki should indicate that the material has been placed in the public domain, under a Creative Commons licence. Any specific details or restrictions should be at the bottom of each page.
