A workshop for small public and commercial a/v archives, suppliers of services, and researchers in the field.

How do smaller archives approach digitised storage? Do outsourced storage services work for smaller collections? What funding models are appropriate? How can archive content be secured for the long term? How much will access cost?

The Prestospace Project, in association with Ovation Data Services and the BBC, held a workshop at the Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre on London’s South Bank exploring the commercial and technical challenges facing managers of smaller audio visual archives.
